Alcindo Martha de Freitas (born March 31, 1945 – died August 27, 2016) was a talented Brazilian footballer. People often called him simply Alcindo. He played as a midfielder, helping his teams score goals and control the game.

Alcindo played for several football clubs during his career. He started with Rio Grande in 1963. After that, he joined Grêmio from 1964 to 1971. He became a legend at Grêmio.

Alcindo is known as Grêmio's all-time leading scorer. He scored an amazing 636 goals for the club! This shows how good he was at finding the back of the net.
Playing for Other Clubs
After his time at Grêmio, Alcindo played for Santos from 1971 to 1973. He also played for Club Jalisco in 1973 and Club América in Mexico from 1974 to 1976. Later, he played for Francana in 1978.
