Alex Dujshebaev Dobichebaeva is a talented Spanish handball player. He was born on December 17, 1992. Alex plays for the club Industria Kielce and is also a key member of the Spanish national team.

Handball is a team sport where two teams of seven players pass a ball using their hands. They try to throw it into the goal of the other team. Alex comes from a family of handball stars. His father, Talant Dujshebaev, was a famous handball player and is now a coach. Alex's brother, Daniel Dujshebaev, also plays handball professionally.

Alex Dujshebaev's Handball Journey

Alex Dujshebaev started his professional handball career at BM Ciudad Real in the 2009-2010 season. Back then, he mostly played as a right wing. After one season, he moved to CB Ciudad de Logroño, where he played for two years.

Playing for Different Clubs

Next, Alex joined BM Aragón for one season. During this time, he changed his playing position to a right back. A right back is a player who usually stands on the right side of the attack. They are known for powerful shots.

In 2013, Alex planned to join Atlético Madrid. However, the club had financial problems and had to stop playing. So, Alex moved to North Macedonia to play for RK Vardar Skopje.

Success with RK Vardar

Alex had a very successful time at RK Vardar. He helped the team win the Macedonian Cup four times in a row, from 2014 to 2017. They also won the Macedonian League in 2015, 2016, and 2017. A big highlight was winning the 2017 EHF Champions League in 2017. This is one of the most important club competitions in European handball.

Joining Industria Kielce

In the summer of 2017, Alex moved to Poland to play for Industria Kielce. He continued his winning streak there. The team won the Polish Championship every year from 2018 to 2023. They also won the Polish Cup in 2018, 2019, and 2021.

In 2022, Alex and Industria Kielce reached the final of the EHF Champions League. They played against FC Barcelona in a very exciting match. Unfortunately, they lost the game after a penalty shootout.

Playing for the Spanish National Team

Alex Dujshebaev first played for the Spanish national team on January 3, 2014. He quickly became an important player for his country.

European and World Championships

Alex was supposed to play in the 2014 European Championship. However, he had a hand injury and could not participate. He was replaced by another player, Eduardo Gurbindo.

He later helped the Spanish team win two gold medals at the European Men's Handball Championship. They won in 2018 and again in 2020. These were big victories for Spain.

At the 2023 World Championship, Alex and his team won bronze medals. This means they finished third in the world. Alex was also chosen for the "All-Star Team" of the tournament. This award goes to the best players in each position.
