Alfaro is a cool town and municipality in La Rioja, a region in northern Spain. It's a pretty big place, covering about 194 square kilometers. In 2018, around 9,460 people lived there.

History of Alfaro
Alfaro has a long and interesting history. Way back in ancient Roman times, it was an important Roman town. It was called Graccuris back then. The town got its name from a Roman leader named Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus.
