Becoming a Politician

In 1976, Nakak ran for State Representative again. This time, he ran for the 22nd district. He won against Bob Evans and the person who was already in office, Larry T. Davis.
While serving, he worked on several important groups called committees. He was part of the Health, Education and Social Services Committee. He also served on the Rules Committee. He was the Vice Chairman for the State Affairs Committee.
In 1978, Alfred Nakak tried to run for re-election. But he lost in the Democratic Primary election to John G. Fuller. This meant he could not run in the main election.
