Ali Bahar (Arabic: علي بحر; born in 1960, passed away on July 3, 2011) was a very famous singer and musician from Bahrain. Many people called him the "Bob Marley of the Gulf" because of his amazing talent. He was known for his popular music band called Al Ekhwa, which means "The Brothers." Ali Bahar was the lead singer, played the guitar, and also the organ in the band. His music was loved by many, especially in Bahrain and Oman. He performed at many big concerts and music festivals.

Ali Bahar's Life and Music
Ali Bahar grew up in Muharraq, a big city in Bahrain. His father was a fisherman. Ali also lived in Sharjah for some time, where he made many friends. He had many fans and supporters in both places.
Forming the Band Al Ekhwa
Ali Bahar became very popular after he formed his music band, Al Ekhwa, in 1986. He was the main singer, played the guitar, and also the organ for the band. This band helped him become famous across the Gulf countries.
