Aliens Stole My Body is an exciting science fiction novel for kids by Bruce Coville. It was first published in 1998. This book is the fourth and final adventure in the popular series about the fictional character Rod Albright. The author's wife, Katherine Coville, created the illustrations and the front cover for the book.

The Story Begins

Aliens Stole My Body brings the four-book series to an exciting end. After their friend Selima Khan leaves, the group from the previous book, The Search for Snout, splits up.

Rod and Seymour, along with Snout, Elspeth, and Madam Pong (who is a diplomat from the Ferkel ship), travel to the planet Kryndamar. Meanwhile, Grakker and Phil (a smart plant who is the science expert on the Ferkel ship) go to find the Galactic Patrol again. Ah-Rit and Tar Gibbons try to get Rod's body back from BKR.

New Friends and a Trap

While on Kryndamar, Rod starts training his mind with Snout. He also finds new friends: Mir-Van, who trades pets across the galaxy, his family, and his friend Grumbo.

They soon meet one of BKR's helpers. From him, they learn that BKR already knows their trick: Rod's body doesn't have his mind in it. But BKR still wants to use Rod's body as a trap. He plans to capture Rod's mom and younger twin siblings from Earth to use as more bait.

Captured!

Rod's group arrives on Earth and finds his family. However, BKR and his gang, including the sneaky Arly Bung, capture almost everyone inside the Merkel ship.

The captives, along with Grakker, Phil, and Selima Khan (who were caught just before leaving our solar system), are taken to BKR's secret headquarters. There, Ah-Rit and Tar Gibbons also join the captured group.

The Final Showdown

With all his enemies in one place, BKR gives them a terrible choice: tell him where Rod's mind is hidden, or they will die.

Rod bravely tells Snout to send him back to his own body. Using the special skills he learned from both Tar Gibbons and Snout, Rod is able to defeat all of BKR's crew. Finally, he takes down BKR himself!

Back to Earth

After their enemies are defeated and captured, Rod and his family return safely to Earth. Rod will be able to visit space again in the future.

BKR and his gang are locked up and will face a trial for their crimes. After saying goodbye to his teacher and friends, Rod watches as the Ferkel ship and its crew leave for Galactic Patrol headquarters. They need to deliver BKR and his gang for trial. The Ferkel crew must also face trial because they broke the law by going rogue instead of following orders.
