History of All Saints Church
The main part of All Saints Church was first built way back in 1230. That's nearly 800 years ago! Later, in 1330, a tall tower was added to the church.
Over the years, the church has been made bigger. In 1937, a new section called the north aisle was built. New rooms for the church staff, called vestries, were also added then. The church had another expansion in 1981, when a northern extension was built.
