Early Life and Amazing Start
Allisen Corpuz was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her father is from the Ilocos Region in the Philippines. Her mother is Korean. Allisen went to the Punahou School in Honolulu.
She was a golf "prodigy" from a young age. This means she was very good at golf early on. She was named an AJGA All-American three times.
In 2008, at just 10 years old, she made history. She became the youngest player to qualify for the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links. She was even featured in The New York Times. The newspaper called her "Golf's Next Wave."
Before college, Allisen played in many important championships. She had over 15 top-5 finishes in AJGA events. In 2014, she won the Hawaii State Open.
