Ancient Buildings

The old church of San Cristóbal is a very important building in Almorox. It was built a long time ago, in the 1500s! This means it's over 500 years old and has seen many changes in the town.

The Old Railway Line

Imagine a time when trains were a big deal! In the late 1800s, a train line was built from Madrid all the way to Almorox. This was a big step for the town, connecting it to the capital city. Even though there were plans to make the line longer, trains stopped coming to Almorox in 1966.
