Aloys is a very small place in Nebraska, United States. It's so tiny that it's called an unincorporated community or a hamlet. This means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Aloys is located in Cuming County. Even though it's small, Aloys is known for a big church, called a cathedral. There's also a small trucking company and just three houses there.
A Glimpse into Aloys' Past
Aloys has a short but interesting history. A long time ago, in 1895, a post office was opened in Aloys. This was a place where people could send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for several years. However, it closed down in 1902. After that, people in Aloys likely used post offices in nearby towns.
