Alphonse Henri de Lorraine (born August 14, 1648 – died October 19, 1718) was an important member of the House of Lorraine. He held the title of Count of Harcourt.

Life of Alphonse Henri
Alphonse Henri was born on August 14, 1648. His parents were François Louis, Count of Harcourt and Anne d'Ornano. He was their third child. His older brother, François, was born before their parents were married. This meant François could not inherit his father's titles and lands.
Becoming Count of Harcourt
Because of this, Alphonse Henri became the Count of Harcourt when his father died in 1694. He was also known as the Prince d'Harcourt.
Marriage and Family
When he was eighteen, Alphonse Henri married Marie Françoise de Brancas in Paris. This happened on February 21, 1667. They had nine children together. Sadly, only three of their children lived to become adults. Marie Françoise was the older daughter of Charles de Brancas and Suzanne Garnier.
Later Life and Death
Alphonse Henri lived to be 70 years old. He passed away on October 19, 1718. This was during a time known as the Regency of Philippe d'Orléans. Philippe d'Orléans was ruling France because King Louis XV was still a child. Alphonse Henri's wife, Marie Françoise, had died a few years earlier in 1715.

Alphonse Henri and Marie Françoise de Brancas had several children. Only three of them lived to adulthood.
- Suzanne de Lorraine, Mademoiselle d'Harcourt (born October 16, 1668 – died January 1671) passed away as a baby.
- Anne Marie Joseph de Lorraine, Prince de Guise, Count of Harcourt (born April 30, 1679 – died April 29, 1739) married Marie Louise Jeannin de Castille. They had children.
- François Marie de Lorraine, Count of Maubec (born August 10, 1686 – died 1706) passed away in Guastalla. This happened during the War of the Spanish Succession.
