Altona is a small town in Keyser Township, DeKalb County, Indiana, United States. It's located in the state of Indiana. In 2010, about 197 people lived there. By 2020, the population had grown slightly to 213 people.

History of Altona
Altona became an official town in 1906. Before that, in 1874, a post office was opened in Altona. This post office helped people send and receive mail. However, it closed down in 1913.
Geography of Altona
Altona is located right next to a larger city called Garrett. This means it's easy for people in Altona to visit Garrett for shopping or other activities.
