Amber Littlejohn, born on July 6, 1975, is an American athlete. She became a professional figure competitor with the IFBB. Amber was very successful, often finishing in the top five at competitions. She earned her professional status by winning the 2003 NPC Figure Nationals.

Growing Up: Amber's Early Life
Amber Littlejohn grew up in a big family. She was one of six children and the only girl. Her parents were very keen on education. They lived in a rural cabin with few modern things. Amber didn't even watch TV until she was nine years old! She loved reading from a young age. She enjoyed books by authors like Toni Morrison and Ernest Hemingway.
Starting Out: Amber's Journey to Fitness
In high school, Amber was very active. She played sports like track and basketball. She also practiced martial arts. When she was 23, she started weight training seriously. She quickly fell in love with fitness. After training for a few years, she learned gymnastics at age 25.
In 2001, Amber entered her first fitness competition. It was the NPC San Jose Fitness and Figure Championships. She won first place in both fitness and figure categories! After this first win, Amber decided to focus only on figure competitions.
Top Competitor: Amber's Professional Career
Amber Littlejohn had some amazing achievements as a professional competitor. Her best results were in 2006. She finished second at the Ms. Figure Olympia. This is a very important competition in figure sports. She also won the first-ever IFBB Palm Beach Pro Figure Championships that same year.
After the 2006 Olympia, Amber thought about retiring. She wanted to start a family. However, she decided to compete one more time. She competed at the Figure Olympia in 2007. There, she placed sixth.
