The Ambroz is a river in Spain. It flows through an area called the Valle del Ambroz. This valley is in northern Extremadura, close to the border of Portugal. The river gave its name to this beautiful valley.

The Valle del Ambroz is home to eight villages. These include Hervás, Baños de Montemayor, and Abadía. Other villages are Casas del Monte, La Garganta, Gargantilla, Aldeanueva del Camino, and Segura de Toro. About 8,000 people live in this area.
