Ameyaw Kissi Debrah, known as Ameyaw Debrah, is a famous Ghanaian blogger and reporter. He started AmeyawDebrah.com, a popular website that shares news about Ghanaian celebrities. He studied publishing at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. There, he won an award for being the best publishing student in 2005. Ameyaw has also written for many other African websites.

Ameyaw Debrah's Journey
Early Life and School
Ameyaw Debrah went to Adisadel College in Cape Coast. In 1999, he became an editor for his school's magazine. He later earned a degree in publishing from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). After college, he worked at Ovation International Magazine in Accra.
Starting His Career
At Ovation magazine, Ameyaw wrote mostly about Ghana's entertainment world. His stories were read by people all over the world. After this, he wrote for the Star newspaper. In 2007, he started writing for other African websites like Jamati.com and ModernGhana.com.
Later in 2007, he joined Voices of Africa, a media project from the Netherlands. He sent videos, photos, and news from Ghana for their website. In 2008, he became the entertainment editor for GhanaWeb.com. That same year, he started his own blog, AmeyawDebrah.com. He left Ghanaweb in 2012 to work on his blog full-time. He also reports for StarGist on Africa Magic and writes for Glitz Africa Magazine. He was even an ambassador for Malta Guinness' Africa Rising Campaign.
AmeyawDebrah.com: A Big Hit
AmeyawDebrah.com started with help from a friend who hosted his website. Since then, his website has reached readers around the world. In 2010, the website got its own iPhone app. In 2012, AmeyawDebrah.com held a competition to find new music talents in Ghana. He also started the "My Ghana Campaign". This allowed readers to make short videos about important issues in Ghana.
Helping Other Artists
Ameyaw Debrah has also helped manage the careers of other artists. He managed Coptic, a music producer from Ghana. Coptic released a music album called The Black Star Line Mixtape, Vol 1 in 2011. This album aimed to connect American rappers with their African roots. Ameyaw helped Coptic in Ghana and looked for new talents for Coptic's music company. Ameyaw said he was happy to help other Ghanaian and African artists. He also managed the artist Pappy Kojo in 2014.
Ameyaw TV: Videos for Everyone
In 2018, Ameyaw Debrah launched Ameyaw TV. This is a website where you can watch different video shows. After holding auditions for TV presenters, Ameyaw TV launched three shows: Daily Buzz, News in One, and Trend Mill. More shows like Trending GH were added later.
Ameyaw Debrah's Family Life
Ameyaw Debrah married Elsie Darkoa on March 6, 2018. They have a son named Nathan. Ameyaw also has another son, Samuel Amo-Ameyaw. Samuel plays football for Southampton FC.
