Jason Gaisie (born 13 February 1989), known by his stage name Pappy Kojo, is a talented Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife artist. He comes from Takoradi and is famous for his popular song "Realer No".

About Pappy Kojo's Early Life
Jason Gaisie was born on February 13, 1989. He grew up in Takoradi, a city in the Western Region of Ghana. He went to Ridge International School until 2004. After that, he moved to Italy to live with his mother.
Pappy Kojo's Music Journey
Pappy Kojo loved music from a very young age. He often took part in local rap shows. There, he would rap along to songs by famous Ghanaian artists like Obrafour and Reggie Rockstone. His biggest inspirations in music include Obrafour, The Shady Aftermath Camp, and Michael Jackson.
When he moved to Italy in 2004, his passion for rap music grew even stronger. He started recording his own versions of popular songs. He would then share these videos on his YouTube channel.
How Pappy Kojo Became Famous
Around the same time, Pappy Kojo began recording his own music. He worked with music producers from Italy and Ghana. This helped him gain attention as a young rapper. He became much more popular in late 2014. This happened after he worked with Ghanaian superstar Joey B on a huge hit song.
After that, Pappy Kojo released his first official single, "Realer No". This song also featured Joey B. They even traveled to South Africa together to perform at the Big Brother finale.
Awards and Recognition
Pappy Kojo was nominated for three awards at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. He won the award for Hip-Hop Song of the Year. He was also nominated for Best Newcomer in Africa at the AFRIMMA Awards.
Since then, he has released other songs. These include "Ay3 Late", "2 Raw" (with Edem), and "Deja Vu" (with Jiggy).
Logos II: Pappy Kojo's First Album
On March 12, 2021, Pappy Kojo released his first studio album called Logos II. This album features other artists, including Busiswa.
