Amos Cardarelli started his professional football career in 1950. He played for Roma for seven years, from 1950 to 1957. Roma is one of Italy's biggest football clubs. After his time at Roma, he moved to Udinese for one season (1957–1958).
He then joined Internazionale, another very famous Italian club, where he played from 1958 to 1960. Later, he played for Lecco (1960–1962) and finished his playing career at Tevere Roma (1962–1963). As a defender, his job was to stop the opposing team from scoring goals.
