Ana Sofia Lopes Malhoa Moreira, better known as Ana Malhoa, is a famous Portuguese singer, actress, and TV host. Born on August 6, 1979, she is a major star in Portugal and other Portuguese-speaking countries.

Ana's career began in 1985 when she was just a child. She started by performing with her father, José Malhoa, who is also a very popular singer in Portugal. Together, they released seven records.

When she was 15, Ana became the host of a children's TV show called Buéréré. The show was a huge hit, and the albums she released for it sold so many copies that they earned a platinum award. This made her a pop icon for kids and teens.

In 2000, she released her first album as a solo artist. Since then, she has become one of the best-selling pop artists in Portugal, with over 635,000 albums sold.

Ana Malhoa was born in Lisbon, Portugal. Her father is the famous singer José Malhoa. Ana was raised by her father and her stepmother, Rosa. Her birth mother, Angelina Lopes, passed away when Ana was a baby.

In 1998, Ana married Jorge Moreira. They have one child, a daughter named Índia Malhoa, who was born in 1999. Like her mother and grandfather, Índia is also a singer. Ana and Jorge were married until 2016.

Besides her music, Ana Malhoa is also a well-known face on television. She started hosting shows as a child. From 1994 to 1998, she was the host of the popular kids' show Buéréré.

She has also hosted parts of the Globos de Ouro, a major awards show in Portugal, several times. Over the years, Ana has appeared on many different TV shows, sometimes as a host and sometimes as herself. She even acted in the TV series Destinos Cruzados in 2013 and Golpe de Sorte in 2019.
