Anaciaeschna is a special group of dragonflies. These amazing insects belong to a larger family called Aeshnidae. You can find different types of Anaciaeschna dragonflies in many places around the world, like Africa, Asia, and Australia.
These dragonflies are quite large. They usually have a brownish-yellow or earthy brown color. They are also known for being "nomadic," which means they like to travel a lot and don't stay in one place for long. Another cool fact about them is that they are "crepuscular." This means they are most active during twilight hours, like early morning or late evening, instead of the middle of the day.

Scientists have identified several different types, or species, within the Anaciaeschna group. Each species has its own unique features, but they all share the general characteristics of this dragonfly group. Here are some of the known species:

- Anaciaeschna kashimirensis Singh & Baijal, 1954

- Anaciaeschna megalopis Martin, 1908
- Anaciaeschna melanostoma Lieftinck, 1949
- Anaciaeschna moluccana Lieftinck, 1930
- Anaciaeschna montivagans Lieftinck, 1932
- Anaciaeschna triangulifera McLachlan, 1896 – This species is often called the evening hawker.
