Anastasia Soare (born December 28, 1957) is a businesswoman from Romania and America. She is famous for starting her own beauty company, Anastasia Beverly Hills. Many people call her the "Eyebrow Queen" because of her special skills with eyebrows.

Early Life
Anastasia Soare was born in Constanța, a city in Romania. Her parents, Dumitru Bălămaci and Victoria Babu, were both tailors. When she was young, Anastasia studied art history and architecture in Romania.
Building a Beauty Business
Moving to America
In 1989, Anastasia Soare moved to Los Angeles, California. She knew very little English at the time. She started working at a beauty salon as an aesthetician. An aesthetician is someone who specializes in skin care and beauty treatments.
Discovering a Niche
While working, Anastasia noticed something important. She realized that eyebrows were often overlooked in beauty routines. She thought there was a big chance to help people with their eyebrows. She developed a special way to shape eyebrows. This method was based on a person's face shape and their natural eyebrow growth.
Starting Her Own Salon
Anastasia's manager at the salon did not think eyebrow shaping would be popular enough. So, Anastasia decided to rent a small room in a salon in Beverly Hills. There, she offered different services. These included facials, body waxing, and her unique eyebrow sculpting. By 1997, she had opened her very own salon on Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills.
Famous Clients
As a beautician, Anastasia worked with many famous people. Some of her first clients for eyebrow treatments were supermodels Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell. Other well-known clients included actress Faye Dunaway and singer Jennifer Lopez.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Today, Anastasia Soare is the CEO and founder of the Anastasia Beverly Hills beauty brand. Her products are sold in almost 2,000 stores around the world. In 2018, a company called TPG invested in her business. By 2023, Forbes magazine estimated that Anastasia Beverly Hills was worth about $500 million.
Personal Life
In 1978, Anastasia married Victor Soare, who was a ship's captain. They have a daughter named Claudia. Claudia is also involved in the makeup business and is known professionally as Norvina. In 1986, Victor Soare went to the American embassy in Italy and asked to live in the United States. He arrived in the U.S. six months later. However, Anastasia and Claudia could not leave Romania to join him until 1989. Anastasia and Victor divorced in 1994. Anastasia Soare now lives in Beverly Hills, California.
