Anastasia Soare (born 28 December 1957) is a successful Romanian-American businesswoman. She is the CEO and founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills. Many people know her as the "Eyebrow Queen."

Early Life
Anastasia Soare was born in Constanța, Romania. Her father, Dumitru Bălămaci, passed away when she was 12 years old. Her mother, Victoria Babu, owned a tailoring shop. Anastasia studied art history and architecture while living in Romania.
Building a Beauty Empire
In 1989, Anastasia Soare moved to Los Angeles, California. She knew very little English at the time. She started working as an aesthetician in a beauty salon. An aesthetician is someone who specializes in skin care and beauty treatments.
The Eyebrow Queen's Idea
Anastasia soon noticed something important. She realized that eyebrows were an area of beauty that no one was really focusing on. She thought, "I developed a technique for how to shape eyebrows." This technique was based on a person's natural bone structure and eyebrow shape.
Her manager at the salon did not think many people would want eyebrow shaping. So, Anastasia decided to rent her own small room. This room was inside a salon in Beverly Hills. There, she offered facials, body waxing, and her special eyebrow sculpting.
Growing Her Business
By 1997, Anastasia Soare was running her very own salon. It was located on Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills. She became very popular among celebrities. Her first two famous clients for eyebrow treatments were Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell. Other well-known clients included Faye Dunaway and Jennifer Lopez.
Today, Anastasia Soare is the CEO and founder of the Anastasia Beverly Hills beauty brand. Her products are sold in almost 2,000 stores around the world. In 2018, she sold a small part of her business to a private investment company. In 2023, Forbes magazine estimated that Anastasia Beverly Hills was worth about $500 million.
Family Life
In 1978, Anastasia married Victor Soare, who was a ship's captain. They have one daughter named Claudia. Claudia is also involved in the makeup business and is known professionally as Norvina.
In 1986, Victor Soare wanted to move to the United States. He was able to reach the U.S. about six months later. However, Anastasia and her daughter were not allowed to leave Romania to join him right away. They finally moved to the United States in 1989. Anastasia and Victor divorced in 1994.
Anastasia Soare now lives in Beverly Hills, California, in the United States.
