Andie Chen (born Andy Tan Bang Jun on June 16, 1985) is a famous actor, host, and vlogger from Singapore. He was a full-time artist with Mediacorp, a big media company, from 2007 to 2017.

Andie Chen's Acting Journey
Andie Chen first appeared on TV in 1997 in a show called Growing Up. He became very well-known after winning a talent competition called Star Search 2007. This win helped him get a contract with Mediacorp.
Early Roles and Big Shows
In 2008, Andie got his first main TV roles. One of his most notable early roles was in the popular drama The Little Nyonya. After that, he starred in many other important TV dramas. Some of these include Unriddle, C.L.I.F., Code of Honour, Joys of Life, and The Journey (trilogy series).
In 2015, Andie tried something new. He played the main role in a Mandarin musical called December Rains. This was his first time performing in a theatre play.
Moving On From Mediacorp
Andie was nominated for several awards at the Star Awards 2017. These awards celebrate the best in Singaporean television. He was nominated for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. In November 2017, Andie announced that he would not continue his contract with Mediacorp. He left the company on October 31, 2017, along with his wife, Kate Pang. His last drama with Mediacorp was The Lead.
In mid-2020, Andie signed a contract with a company in Taiwan called EeLin Entertainment. He then moved to Taiwan to continue his career.

Andie Chen went to Tanglin Secondary School. After that, he studied Film, Sound, and Video at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Family Life
Andie married actress Kate Pang in 2013. They have two children, a son named Aden and a daughter named Avery. In 2016, Andie and Kate started a parenting channel online called Kandie Family. They share their family adventures and tips there.
Business Ventures
While living in Taiwan, Andie became interested in a game called Axie Infinity. He later started his own company, Freedom Nation, which is connected to the game.
Awards and Recognition
Andie Chen has received many nominations and awards throughout his career. He won Star Search 2007, which was a big start for him. He has been nominated multiple times for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor at the Star Awards. These awards are a big deal in Singapore's entertainment industry. In 2023, he won the Best Actor in a Leading Role (national winner - Singapore) at the Asian Academy Creative Awards for his role in Third Rail.
