Andre Rosey Brown (February 7, 1956 – July 18, 2006) was an American actor. He was also a police officer and a football coach. He was known for appearing in many popular movies and TV shows.
Andre Rosey Brown's Life and Career
Andre Rosey Brown was born in Rockford, Illinois. Before he became an actor, he worked as a police officer. He served with the Inglewood Police Department for 14 years. He also played football and was a jazz drummer while studying at the University of Montana.
Brown started his acting career in 1985. His first TV role was in the police show Hill Street Blues. He began his film career in 1986 with the TV movie The Return of Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer.
After retiring from the police force in 1998, Brown continued his acting work. He appeared in many well-known TV shows and movies during the 1990s and early 2000s. Some of these include The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Friends, ER, Space Jam, and Big Fat Liar. He also had a main role as Morgan Washington in the TV series 413 Hope St..
Brown stopped acting in 2002. His last film was Devious Beings.
His Passing
Andre Rosey Brown passed away in July 2006. He was 50 years old and died in Northridge, California, after a short illness.
