About Andreas Gabalier
Andreas Gabalier grew up in Graz, Austria. He is the second of four children. His brother, Willi Gabalier, is a well-known tournament dancer. The Gabalier family name comes from a French soldier. This soldier came to Austria in 1796 during a war led by Napoleon Bonaparte and stayed there.
Andreas has faced some sad times in his life. His father passed away in 2006, and his younger sister passed away in 2008. Andreas wrote a special song for them called Amoi seg' ma uns wieder. This song means "We will see each other again sometime." It is a song about remembering loved ones who have passed away. From 2013 until September 2019, Andreas was in a relationship with Austrian TV host Silvia Schneider.
