André Pinto's Football Journey

André Pinto started his football career in his home country, Brazil. He was born in São Paulo. He played for several Brazilian clubs, including Associação Atlética Flamengo, Esporte Clube XV de Novembro (Piracicaba), and Associação Atlética Portuguesa (RJ).

Moving to Portugal

In January 2003, André Pinto moved to Portugal. He joined a team called C.D. Nacional. During his first two seasons, he played in ten matches in the top league, the Primeira Liga. He also spent some time on loan at C.D. Santa Clara in the second league, the Segunda Liga.

André made a great start in the Primeira Liga. In his very first game on February 2, 2003, he scored a goal. It was a local derby match against C.S. Marítimo, and his team won 3–2 away from home.

Success at Nacional

Pinto returned to Nacional for two more seasons. He had a fantastic season in 2005–06. He scored 14 goals in 30 games. This helped his club finish fifth in the league.

Because of their strong performance, Nacional qualified for the UEFA Cup. This was only the second time in the club's history. André scored two goals in several matches that season. These included games against Académica de Coimbra, Boavista FC, Vitória de Setúbal, and C.F. Os Belenenses.

Time in Japan and Return to Portugal

After his success in Portugal, André Pinto moved to Japan. He played for Kyoto Sanga FC for two years. In his first season, he scored three goals. Unfortunately, his team was relegated from the top league, the J1 League.

On January 31, 2008, André came back to Portugal. He signed with C.S. Marítimo. He then played for F.C. Paços de Ferreira. Over these two seasons, he made 11 appearances and scored two goals.

Back to Brazil

In 2010, after almost eight years playing abroad, André Pinto returned to Brazil. He joined São José Esporte Clube, an amateur team.
