Andy Allo, born on January 13, 1989, is a talented American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actress. She released her first album in 2009. In 2011, she joined the famous musician Prince's band, The New Power Generation. Andy Allo has also appeared in several TV shows and movies. She had a role in the film Pitch Perfect 3 and plays the main character, Nora, in the Amazon Prime series Upload.

Early Life and Education
Andy Allo was born in Bamenda, Cameroon. She became interested in music at a young age. Her mother taught her to play the piano when she was seven years old. Andy is the youngest of five children.
In 2000, when she was eleven, Andy moved to Sacramento, California, with her sister. She joined her other siblings there. Andy Allo has citizenship in both the United States and Cameroon.
She went to Arden Middle School and later graduated from El Camino Fundamental High School in Sacramento in 2006. After high school, Andy attended American River College. During this time, she formed her own band called Allo and the Traffic Jam. They sometimes performed on the street for tips.
Music Career
Andy Allo's first solo performance was in 2008 at an open mic night in Sacramento. In 2009, she released her first album, UnFresh. This album had 12 original songs. The first song, "Dreamland", featured the rapper Blu.
Her musical talent led her to join Prince's band, the New Power Generation, in 2011. While on tour with Prince, she started writing songs with him. They worked together on three songs: "Superconductor", "The Calm", and "Long Gone". These songs appeared on Andy's album, Superconductor.
Superconductor was released in November 2012. It quickly became popular, reaching number one on Amazon.com's Soul and R&B charts in France, the United Kingdom, and the US. Other musicians like Maceo Parker and Trombone Shorty also played on the album. Andy also sang on three songs on Prince's 2014 album Art Official Age. She sang background vocals on "Breakdown" and co-lead vocals on "What It Feels Like" and "Time".
In 2015, Prince included her song "Rocknroll Loveaffair" on his album Hit n Run Phase Two. Andy released her single "Tongue Tied" in October 2014. Her album Hello came out in April 2015. That same year, she worked with Prince on a project of cover songs called Oui Can Luv.
Acting Career
Andy Allo first appeared on TV in 2011. She was in three episodes of the series The Game. She has also been interviewed on the talk show Attack of the Show!. She performed her music on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
In 2017, Andy was in the movie Pitch Perfect 3. She played Serenity, a member of the band Evermoist. Since 2020, she has played the main female role of Nora in the Amazon Prime TV series Upload.
In March 2023, Andy Allo lent her voice to the character Lyanna Hazard in the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
