Angus Kennedy, 6th Marquess of Ailsa was an important Scottish nobleman. He was born on 28 October 1882 and passed away on 31 May 1957. Before he inherited his main title, people knew him as Lord Angus Kennedy until 1956.

Angus Kennedy was the son of Archibald Kennedy, 3rd Marquess of Ailsa. He received his education at Eton College, a famous school in England.

Military Service

Angus Kennedy served in the military during his life. He held the rank of lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Later, he became a captain in the Royal Air Force. These roles show his dedication to serving his country.

Family Life

Angus Kennedy married Gertrude Millicent Cooper on 28 January 1922. Gertrude was the daughter of Gervas Weir Cooper. Together, Angus and Gertrude had one child:
