Anita Fabiola (her real name is Anita Kyarimpa) is a talented Ugandan actress, a special ambassador for tourism, a host for big events, and a successful businesswoman. She was also a beauty queen! In 2019, she became a Goodwill Tourism Ambassador for Uganda. This means she helps promote travel and tourism all over Uganda through a campaign called "Tulambule".
Before she started hosting the TV show Be My Date in 2014, Anita Fabiola won the title of Miss Uganda West in 2013. She also came in second place in the main Miss Uganda beauty pageant that same year. She is also famous for hosting some of Africa's biggest red carpet events. These include the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards in Nigeria (2016) and the Namibia Annual Music Awards (2016 and 2017). She also hosted the Ghana Movie Awards (2017) and the Ghana Music Awards (2016).

Anita Fabiola's Career Journey
Anita Fabiola started modeling when she was just 12 years old. She worked with the Arapapa modelling agency. During this time, she walked the runway and appeared in commercials for Flair Magazine in 2008.
Early Achievements and Beauty Pageants
While in high school, Fabiola took part in her school's beauty pageants. She won titles like Miss London College and Miss St. Lawrence Schools and Colleges. This led her to join a country-wide competition called Miss High School Kadanke in 2012. She won this, becoming the first "Miss Kadanke."
In 2013, Fabiola joined the Miss Uganda beauty pageant. She was crowned Miss Uganda West. She also finished as the first runner-up in the main Miss Uganda pageant that year.
Starting Out in Television
Fabiola began her TV career in 2014. She hosted and produced the Be My Date show on NTV. This show was on every Sunday evening. In 2014, Be My Date was voted the most-watched entertainment TV show in Uganda. Because the show was so popular, Fabiola was nominated for and won the Buzz Teeniez Awards in 2015 for Best Female TV Personality.
In 2015, Fabiola also worked for a short time as a presenter on Capital FM. She was part of the "Big Breakfast" show from Monday to Friday mornings.
Acting Roles and Current Shows
As an actress, Fabiola is well-known for playing Angella in the NTV drama series, Second Chance. This show came out in October 2016. She later left the show because she had a very busy schedule with other business interests. Fabiola also had a smaller role in the 2015 series Studio 256 on NTV. In 2013, she also acted in a Bollywood thriller movie called Escape from Uganda, where she played the character Oldra.
Currently, Fabiola hosts a popular music and entertainment show called "Katch Up." It airs live every Friday on NBS TV.
Hosting Big Events
Fabiola has hosted many important events in Uganda's entertainment world. These include the Hip Hop Awards in 2016 and the Uganda Entertainment Awards in 2017. She also hosted the Miss Uganda pageant in 2016. She has hosted concerts for famous musicians like Tekno and MR. Eazi.
In 2018, Anita Fabiola made history as the first Ugandan to be invited to the famous Cannes Film Festival. She walked the red carpet at this event, which is attended by many celebrities.
She also started her own weekly podcast called "The Fabiola Podcast" on Afripods. This is an online channel and app from Sweden. This made her the first Ugandan media personality to have her own podcast.
Promoting Tourism in Uganda
In February 2019, she became a Tourism Ambassador for the "Tulambule" campaign. This campaign aims to encourage Ugandans to explore their own country. She joined a team of other famous ambassadors, including Salvador (Patrick Idringi), Gaetano Kaggwa, Marcus Kwikiriza, and kickboxer Moses Golola. The team traveled to different parts of Uganda. They explored the beautiful landscapes and learned about unique cultures and traditions. They encouraged other Ugandans to do the same.

Helping Others: Philanthropy
Fabiola started the Fab Girls Foundation. Her goal is to help young girls. The foundation provides services like basic education and information about staying healthy. It also helps create awareness about HIV/AIDS. In early 2019, she started a campaign to raise money for her charity. She sold custom-designed calendars to support her foundation's work.
Personal Life
Anita Fabiola married Mark Ronald Mukiibi in 2022. They had a private traditional marriage ceremony. Mark Ronald had proposed to her in 2021 while they were in the Maldives.
