Anita Kyarimpa, better known as Anita Fabiola, is a famous Ugandan actress, TV host, and businesswoman. She was also a beauty queen. In February 2019, she became a Goodwill Tourism Ambassador. She helped lead the "Tulambule" campaign to promote tourism all over Uganda.
Before she hosted the "Be my date" show on NTV in 2014, Fabiola won the title of Miss Uganda West. She was also the first runner-up in the main Miss Uganda beauty pageant in 2013. She is also well-known for hosting big red carpet events in Africa. These include the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards in Nigeria and the Namibia Annual Music Awards (NAMA). She also hosted the Ghana Movie Awards and the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.

Anita Fabiola's Journey in Entertainment
Early Steps in Modeling
Anita Fabiola started modeling at just 12 years old. She worked with the Arapapa modeling agency. During this time, she did fashion shows and appeared in commercials for Flair Magazine in 2008.
While in high school, Fabiola took part in school beauty pageants. She won titles like Miss London College and Miss St. Lawrence schools and colleges. This led her to compete in the Miss High School Kadanke in 2012. She won this competition, becoming the first "Miss Kadanke."
In 2013, Fabiola joined the Miss Uganda beauty pageant. She was crowned Miss Uganda West. She also became the first runner-up in the overall Miss Uganda pageant that year.
Starting a TV Career
Fabiola began her television career in 2014. She hosted and produced the "Be my date" show on NTV. This show aired every Sunday evening. In 2014, it was voted the most-watched entertainment TV show in Uganda. Because the show was so successful, Fabiola was nominated for and won the Buzz Teeniez Awards in 2015. She won for Best Female TV Personality.
In 2015, Fabiola also worked as a presenter on Capital FM. She was on the "Big Breakfast" show from Monday to Friday mornings.
Acting Roles
As an actress, Fabiola is famous for playing Angella in NTV's remake of the telenovela drama series, Second Chance. This show started in October 2016. However, she left the show because she had a very busy schedule. She wanted to focus on other business opportunities around the world.
Fabiola also had a supporting role in the 2015 series "Studio 256" on NTV. In 2013, she starred in the Bollywood Malayalam thriller movie, Escape from Uganda. She played the character Oldra.
Current TV Work and Hosting
Anita Fabiola is currently the host of "Katch Up." This is a popular live music and entertainment show. It airs every Friday on NBS TV.
She has also hosted many events in Uganda. These include the Hip Hop Awards 2016 and the Uganda Entertainment Awards 2017. She also hosted Miss Uganda 2016 and concerts for artists like Tekno and Mr. Eazi.
In 2018, Fabiola made history by being the first Ugandan invited to the famous Cannes Film Festival. She walked the red carpet at this event, which is full of celebrities.
She also started her own weekly podcast called "The Fabiola Podcast." It is available on Afripods, an online channel and app from Sweden. This made her the first Ugandan media personality to have her own podcast.
Promoting Tourism in Uganda
In February 2019, Anita Fabiola was announced as a Tourism Ambassador. She joined the "Tulambule" campaign. This campaign aims to encourage Ugandans to explore their own country. She traveled with other famous ambassadors like Salvador (Patrick Idringi) and Gaetano Kaggwa. They explored Uganda's beautiful landscapes and learned about different cultures. They encouraged other Ugandans to do the same.

Helping Others
Fabiola started the Fab Girls Foundation. Her goal is to help young girls. The foundation provides things like basic education and helps with sanitation. It also teaches about HIV/AIDS awareness. In early 2019, she launched a campaign to raise money for her charity. She sold custom-designed calendars to support her cause.
Personal Life
Anita Fabiola married Mark Ronald Mukiibi in 2022. They had a private traditional marriage ceremony called okugamba obugyenyi. This happened after he proposed to her in 2021 in the Maldives.
