Anjum Anand (born 15 August 1971) is a British food writer and TV chef. She is famous for teaching people how to cook delicious and healthy Indian cuisine.

About Anjum Anand
Anjum Anand grew up in London, England. She also lived and studied in other exciting cities. These include Geneva, Paris, and Madrid. She learned to speak French and Spanish. Anjum also earned a degree in business.
Her Journey to Becoming a Chef
Anjum's interest in healthy eating came from her own experiences. She wanted to find ways to make traditional Indian food healthier. Indian dishes are often rich. Anjum learned to make them with less oil. She also used wholesome ingredients.
When she was 25, Anjum published her first cookbook. It was called Indian Every Day: Light Healthy Indian Food. This book showed people how to enjoy Indian food in a healthy way.
TV Shows and Books
Anjum became a regular guest on a TV show called Great Food Live. This was from 2004 to 2007. She also appeared on the BBC Two series Indian Food Made Easy in 2007. Many people enjoyed her cooking shows.
She started writing for The Times Online food pages in 2007. Anjum also helped the Birds Eye brand. She worked with them to create healthy Indian ready meals. In September 2008, she released her third cookbook, Anjum's New Indian. A new BBC TV series followed in November of that year.
The Spice Tailor Brand
In 2011, Anjum launched her own brand called The Spice Tailor. This company makes Indian sauces. These sauces help people cook Indian meals easily at home. The brand became very popular. It was sold to Premier Foods in October 2022.
