Ankit Gupta is a popular Indian actor and model. He was born on November 6, 1988. Ankit is famous for his roles in many Hindi TV shows. Some of his best-known characters include Parth Kashyap in Sadda Haq and Fateh Singh Virk in Udaariyaan. He also played Jahaan Mehta in Junooniyatt and Ranvijay Rana in Maati Se Bandhi Dor. Ankit was also a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 16.

Ankit's Early Life

Ankit Gupta was born in Meerut, a city in Uttar Pradesh, India. He studied at IPEC Engineering College. Before becoming an actor, he worked at a call center. Later, he moved to Mumbai, which is a big city for movies and TV in India. In Mumbai, he appeared in many commercials and music videos. This helped him start his acting career.

Ankit's Acting Journey

Ankit Gupta began his acting career in 2012. His first TV role was Dr. Abhishek Kumar in the show Balika Vadhu on Colors TV. In the same year, he also acted in a Hindi film called Tutiya Dil.

Becoming a TV Star

In 2014, Ankit became well-known for his role as Parth Kashyap. This was in the popular show Sadda Haq on Channel V India. After that, he appeared in many other TV shows. He played Garv Thakur in Begusarai and Jatin Roy in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. He also acted as Chegu in Mayavi Maling and Pawan Malhotra in Kundali Bhagya.

Ankit also worked in web series, which are shows made for online streaming. Some of these include Illegal - Justice, Out of Order, Bekaboo 2, and Main Hero Boll Raha Hu.

Leading Roles and Reality TV

From 2021 to 2022, Ankit Gupta played the main character, Fateh Singh Virk, in the hit show Udaariyaan on Colors TV. In 2022, he joined the reality show Bigg Boss 16. He was a contestant on this show for 84 days.

From February to November 2023, Ankit played Jahaan Mehta. This character was a musician in the romantic musical drama Junooniyatt, also on Colors TV. Since May 2024, he has been starring as Rannvijay in the romantic drama Maati Se Bandhi Dor on StarPlus. He acts alongside Rutuja Bagwe in this show.
