Sukhwinder Singh (born July 18, 1971) is a famous Indian playback singer. He is well-known for singing many popular songs in Bollywood movies. He sang "Jai Ho" for the movie Slumdog Millionaire. This song helped him win a Grammy Award! He has also won two Filmfare Awards for his amazing singing.
Sukhwinder Singh also sang the hit song "Chaiyya Chaiyya" from the movie Dil Se... He sang this song with Sapna Awasthi.

Early Life and Music Journey
Sukhwinder Singh was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He learned music from a teacher named Prof. BS Narang. He released a Punjabi music album called Munda Southhall Da. Later, he joined the music group of Laxmikant–Pyarelal and became a music arranger. This meant he helped put music together.
His first big chance in Bollywood was with the song "Aaja Sanam" in the movie Khilaaf. But his real breakthrough came when he sang "Chaiyya Chaiyya" for music director A. R. Rahman in the film Dil Se... This song became super popular and won him a Filmfare award. "Chaiyya Chaiyya" is still one of the most famous songs from that time. Sukhwinder Singh has sung for many songs featuring actor Shah Rukh Khan.
In 2014, he took part in the seventh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, a dance reality show. He also sang the song Jai Ho Hindustan Ki, which was the anthem for the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup.
