Ann Morrison Park was built in 1959. The land for the park was bought from the local school district.
Workers from a company called Morrison-Knudsen helped build the park. Money for the park came from the Morrison Family Foundation. The park is named in honor of Ann Daly Morrison. She was the wife of Harry W. Morrison, who helped start the Morrison-Knudsen company.
