Ann Kimberly Orrison-Germain, born Ann Kimberly Orrison on June 29, 1961, is an American former soccer player. She was a member of the United States women's national soccer team from 1985 to 1986.
Before playing soccer, Ann was a talented athlete at the University of Virginia. There, she played both field hockey and lacrosse.
Ann Orrison's Early Life and Family
Ann Orrison was born in Arlington County, Virginia. She grew up in McLean, Virginia. Her parents are Karen and Charles Orrison.
On June 21, 1986, Ann married Everett Grant Germain III in Fairfax, Virginia. Her sister-in-law is Suzy Cobb Germain, who also played for the U.S. national soccer team. Suzy later married Everett's brother, Gregory, in 1989.
Playing for the National Team
Ann and Suzy even played together in one special soccer match. This game was against the Canadian team in the 1986 North America Cup. The American team won that game 3–0.
This match was Suzy Cobb Germain's only international appearance. It was also Ann Orrison's final game playing for the national team.
