Early Life and Inspiration
Anna Glynn was born in 1958. She grew up on a large farm near the Yarra River in Warrandyte. This farm was a special place for wildlife and is now looked after by Parks Victoria. Being surrounded by nature as a child greatly influenced her art. It helped her create works like her 2006 piece, Strange Memories.

Artistic Journey and Themes

One of her important exhibitions was called Promiscuous Provenance. The Shoalhaven Regional Gallery asked her to create this show. It looked at Australia's history as a colony. Anna used old pictures of Australian plants and animals and gave them a new, modern twist. This exhibition traveled to many galleries and museums across Australia from 2018 to 2021. The Australian Government helped support this tour.
Over her career, which spans more than 30 years, Anna has been recognized for her talent. She has won several awards and commissions both in Australia and other countries. Some of these include the Noosa Art Award in 2016 and the Kedumba Drawing Award in 2015.
