Anna Kathryn Gunn (born August 11, 1968) is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in TV shows like Deadwood and Breaking Bad. She won two Primetime Emmy Awards for her acting. She also won a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Anna Gunn was born on August 11, 1968. She grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her family has roots from different countries. These include Poland, Slovakia, England, and Germany.
She finished high school in Santa Fe in 1986. Then, she went to Northwestern University. She studied theater there and graduated in 1990. In 1988, she spent time studying acting in London, England. She lived in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles with another actress, Pamela Adlon.
