Anna Lambe (born September 25, 2000) is a talented actress from Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada. She is an Inuk actress, meaning she is part of the Inuit people. Anna became well-known for her first movie role in The Grizzlies in 2018. For this role, she was even nominated for a big award called the Canadian Screen Award!
Anna's Acting Journey
Anna Lambe started her acting career in 2018 with the movie The Grizzlies. She played a character named Spring. This movie was based on a true story, and Anna's drama teacher actually encouraged her to try out for the part! The film was special because it was filmed right in Iqaluit, which is Anna's hometown. Many people loved the movie, and Anna's acting was so good that she was nominated for "Best Supporting Actress" at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards.
More Roles on TV
In 2020, Anna got another important role in a TV show called Trickster. She played a character named Sarah. Her performance in this show also earned her another nomination for "Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series" at the 9th Canadian Screen Awards in 2021.
Later, in September 2022, Anna was chosen to be in the fourth season of a popular TV show called True Detective, which airs on HBO.
Most recently, in March 2024, Anna was cast in the main role for a new comedy series from CBC called North of North. This shows she's becoming a lead actress!
