Anna Maria Seymour (born around 1692 – died July 10, 1723) was a talented British actress. She was also known as Mrs Seymour. She performed on stage in the early 1700s.

Early Career and Stage Success
Anna Maria Seymour began her acting career in 1717. Her first known performance was at the famous Drury Lane theatre. She appeared in a play called The Scowrers.
Seymour quickly became a popular actress. She played important main characters in many well-known plays. For example, she took on leading roles in Richard III and Hamlet. She often performed alongside other famous actors of her time. These included Lacy Ryan and James Quin. She even played Lady Macbeth with James Quin in Othello.
Moving to New Theatres
Between 1718 and 1719, Anna Maria Seymour moved to a different theatre. She joined John Rich's company at Lincoln's Inn Fields. Here, she continued to get many leading roles. This showed how skilled and in-demand she was as an actress.
Her Most Famous Role
One of Anna Maria Seymour's most celebrated performances was as the character Marianne. This role was in a play of the same name by Elijah Fenton. Playing Marianne helped make her even more famous.
Later Life and Marriage
Anna Maria Seymour's last performance was on June 7, 1723. She performed with the actor who would soon become her husband. Later that year, she married Anthony Boheme. He was also a very well-known actor.
After her marriage, it was thought that she would stop acting. However, her marriage was very short. Anna Maria Seymour sadly passed away in Norwich just a few months after her wedding. Anthony Boheme later married again.
