Marjo Anneli Arho (born April 12, 1951) is a talented Finnish music teacher, writer, and composer. A composer is someone who writes music.

Anneli Arho's Life and Studies

Anneli Arho was born in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. She loved music from a young age. She studied music theory and how to compose music at the Sibelius Academy. This is a famous music school in Finland. Her teacher there was Jukka Tiensuu.

Later, she continued her studies in Germany, in a city called Freiburg. She learned from other well-known composers like Klaus Huber and Brian Ferneyhough. She worked very hard and earned a special degree called Doctor of Music. This means she became an expert in music.

After her studies, Anneli Arho started teaching. She taught at the Sibelius Academy, the same school where she studied. She taught students about composing music and music theory. She also writes articles about music education for different magazines. Anneli Arho is married to Jukka Tiensuu, who was also her teacher.
