Annette Ngozi Ilonzeh (born August 23, 1983), known as Annie Ilonzeh, is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in popular TV shows. Many people know her as Maya Ward in the soap opera General Hospital or as Kate Prince in the 2011 reboot of Charlie's Angels.
She also played the paramedic Emily Foster in the action-packed drama series Chicago Fire. Ilonzeh has appeared in many other shows, including Arrow and Empire.

Early Life and First Roles
Annie Ilonzeh was born in Grapevine, Texas. Her father is from Nigeria, and her mother is American. She went to Colleyville Heritage High School.
In 2007, she started her acting career with a guest role on the popular TV show How I Met Your Mother. After that, she appeared in small parts in movies like He's Just Not That Into You and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. She also had a recurring role on the TV series Melrose Place from 2009 to 2010.
Career on Television
General Hospital and Charlie's Angels
From 2010 to 2011, Ilonzeh became well-known for playing Maya Ward on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. A soap opera is a TV drama with ongoing stories about the lives of its characters.
In 2011, she got a main role as one of the "Angels" in the new version of the classic TV show Charlie's Angels. She played Kate Prince, a smart and tough ex-police officer. The show was a big opportunity for her, but it was canceled after only a few episodes.
