Club Journey
Starting Out: Youth Teams
Ante Roguljić began his football journey playing for youth teams. He played for Omladinac Vranjic and NK Adriatic Split. These are clubs where young players learn and develop their skills.
Joining Red Bull Salzburg and Liefering
In July 2013, Ante joined Red Bull Salzburg. This happened after Croatia joined the European Union. Red Bull Salzburg is a big club in Austria. To help him get experience playing with older players, he was immediately sent on loan to FC Liefering. Liefering is like a "farm team" for Red Bull Salzburg, where younger players can play in real games.
First Games and Goals
Ante played his first game for FC Liefering on August 2, 2013. They won 4–1 against Parndorf. Just a few days later, on August 6, he scored his first goal! Liefering won that game 5–1 against Rheindorf Altach. In his first season with Liefering, he played 21 games, scored three goals, and helped set up two others. He usually played in the middle of the field, helping with both defense and attack.
Moving Up: Red Bull Salzburg Debut
For the 2014–15 season, Red Bull Salzburg decided to loan Ante back to Liefering. He played very well in the first half of that season. Because of his good performance, he was called up to play for Red Bull Salzburg's main team. He played in a cup match against Wacker Innsbruck. He came into the game as a substitute and scored the winning goal in extra time! On November 1, 2014, he played his first league game for Red Bull Salzburg against Admira Wacker.
Loan to Hajduk Split
In the summer of 2015, Ante went on loan to Hajduk Split in Croatia. The coach there, Damir Burić, really wanted him on the team. At first, Ante played regularly and was important in Hajduk's games to qualify for European competitions. However, later in the season, he didn't play as well and spent more time on the bench. His loan with Hajduk ended in May 2016.
Recent Club Moves
After his time at Hajduk Split, Ante Roguljić continued his career with several other clubs. He played for Admira Wacker and Wacker Innsbruck on loan. Later, he joined Pafos in Cyprus, then Trenčín in Slovakia, and Universitatea Craiova in Romania. He also had a loan spell at Universitatea Cluj.
