Where Antelope Horns Grow
This plant is naturally found in the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It likes to grow in soil that is a bit wet. This soil can be sandy or rocky.
What Antelope Horns Look Like
Antelope horns plants usually grow to be about 0.3 to 0.6 meters (1 to 2 feet) tall. They typically bloom, or flower, during the spring months, from April to June. The flowers are often a greenish color. The plant's seed pods are said to look like the horns of an antelope, which is how it got its common name.
