Antezana de la Ribera is found on the eastern side of a hill called Montemayor. It's about 29 kilometers (18 miles) away from Vitoria, a larger city. You can reach it by following the A-3310 road, which runs between the towns of Manzanos and Pobes.

The village is home to a small community. About 11 people live there all the time. On weekends, around six more people come to visit. Most of the villagers work in farming, with five people being farmers. Others travel to nearby cities like Vitoria and Miranda de Ebro for jobs in factories. Some residents are retired.

People in the village also celebrate a special event called a pilgrimage. This journey is made to the shrine of Our Lady of Joy. These pilgrimages happen twice a year, in May and September. The shrine is located high up in the town. From this spot, you can see amazing views of the valley below. You can even see up to ten other villages from here, including some from the County of Treviño.
