Anthony Jamar Brown (born October 22, 1981) is an American gospel singer and songwriter. He is known for his inspiring music and his talented background singers, called Group Therapy (also written as group therAPy). Anthony Brown is also a worship leader at a church in Maryland.
Early Life and Music Start
Anthony Brown was born on October 22, 1981. He has always loved music. In 2008, he started working at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He first became the Assistant Minister of Music. Later, he became the main worship leader there. This means he helps lead the singing and music during church services.
Anthony Brown's Music Journey
Anthony Brown began his professional music career in 2012. His first album, Anthony Brown & Group TherAPy, was released on August 21, 2012. It was put out by Tyscot Records. Anthony Brown and Justin Savage worked together to produce this album.
