Anthony David Harrington (born December 4, 1971) is an American R&B singer and songwriter. He is well-known for his 2006 song "Words," which he sang with contemporary R&B artist India.Arie.

Anthony David's Life Story
Anthony David was born in Savannah, Georgia. Before becoming a musician, he was a soldier in the Gulf War. He served as a paratrooper and took part in 28 missions. After his military service, he moved to Atlanta to start his music career.
In Atlanta, he met R&B singer India.Arie. They started working together on music. Anthony David wrote a song called "Part of My Life" for India.Arie's album Acoustic Soul. He also went on tour with her to support her album.
His Music Journey
Anthony David released his first independent album, Three Chords & The Truth, in 2004. Two years later, in 2006, he released his second album, The Red Clay Chronicles. He worked with India.Arie again to write and produce "There's Hope" for her third album.
His third album, Acey Duecy, came out in 2008. This album mixed R&B and soul music. It featured the popular song "Words," which was a duet with India.Arie.
Anthony's fourth album, As Above So Below, was released in 2011. He worked with Shannon Sanders on this album. It included other singers like Algebra Blessett and Phonte. The first song from this album, "4Evermore," became a top 20 R&B hit in the US. In 2018, he released Hello Like Before: The Songs of Bill Withers. This album was a tribute to the famous singer Bill Withers.
