Anthony Herrera (born June 14, 1980) is a former professional American football player. He played as an offensive guard, which is a very important position on the offensive line. His job was to block defenders and protect his team's quarterback and help the running backs gain yards.
Herrera was born in Trinidad and Tobago. He later became a citizen of the United States.

Early Life and School
Anthony Herrera went to Barron G. Collier High School. This school is located in Naples, Florida.
Playing Professional Football
After high school, Herrera played college football for the University of Tennessee. He was a strong player there.
In 2004, he joined the Minnesota Vikings. He was signed as an "undrafted free agent." This means no team picked him during the main player draft. But the Vikings saw his talent and signed him afterward.
From 2007 to 2011, Anthony Herrera was the main right guard for the Minnesota Vikings. He played in many games during his career. He played in 80 games and started 70 of them.
