Anthony Dwayne Montgomery (born June 2, 1971) is an American actor and the creator of a graphic novel. He is most famous for playing Ensign Travis Mayweather in the science fiction TV show Star Trek: Enterprise. This was the fifth live-action series in the popular Star Trek universe.
From 2015 to 2019, Montgomery also played Dr. Andre Maddox on the daytime TV drama General Hospital. He is the grandson of the famous jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery.

Early Life and Education
Anthony Montgomery was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. After high school, he went to Ball State University. He studied performance theater and drama and earned a degree.
For a short time after graduating, Montgomery performed stand-up comedy. He later moved to California to pursue his acting career.
Career in Entertainment
Montgomery has worked in movies, television, and on stage. He has also created music and written a graphic novel.
Acting on Screen and Stage
Montgomery's first big role in a movie was in the 2000 horror-comedy Leprechaun in the Hood. He also helped write and sing some of the songs for the film. Before his most famous role, he had a recurring part on the TV show Popular.
In 2001, he was cast as Ensign Travis Mayweather in Star Trek: Enterprise, a role he played for four years. After Enterprise, he returned to stand-up comedy for a while. He has appeared in many other TV shows, including House, Baby Daddy, and the soap opera General Hospital as Dr. Andre Maddox.
Besides his work on screen, Montgomery has also performed in plays. He has appeared in productions of famous plays like Oliver, Othello, and Much Ado About Nothing. In 2005, he returned to his home state of Indiana to act in plays that raised money for charity.
Music and Writing
Montgomery is also a musician. He released a hip-hop album called A.T. in 2008. One of his songs, "Stimulation," was featured in the TV series Single Ladies, which he also acted in.
In 2013, Montgomery created a story called Miles Away. It's about a teenager with special needs who has to fight aliens. He published it as a graphic novel, which is a story told with comic book-style art.
Personal Life
Anthony Montgomery married his wife, Adrienne, in 2007. They have a son who was born in 2010. Montgomery also has a daughter from an earlier relationship.
His grandfather was Wes Montgomery, a very influential jazz musician. In his free time, Montgomery studies martial arts, including Hapkido and Koga Ryu Ninjutsu.
