Anthony Quinn Pullard (born June 23, 1966) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was born in DeQuincy, Louisiana. Anthony was a tall player, standing 6 feet 10 inches (2.08 meters) and weighing about 235 pounds (111 kg). He played as a forward.
Anthony played college basketball at McNeese State University from 1985 to 1990. He also attended Odessa Junior College but did not play basketball there.
College Basketball Star
Anthony Pullard was a standout player in college. He was named Sports Illustrated Player of the Week on March 5, 1990. This was after he had an amazing week, scoring an average of 27.7 points and grabbing 13.3 rebounds in three wins. One of his best games was on March 3, 1990, against North Texas. In that game, he scored 35 points and got 18 rebounds, helping his team win 60–54.
Playing Professionally
After college, Anthony Pullard aimed for the NBA.
- He first signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1990, but he was later waived.
- In August 1992, he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks.
- He played 8 games with the Bucks during the 1992-93 season.
- During these games, he averaged 2.1 points and 1.0 rebound per game.
- The Bucks waived him in January 1993.
Playing in Other Leagues
After his time in the NBA, Anthony Pullard continued his professional career.
