Anthony Michael Welsh (born 5 July 1983) is an English actor. He is known for his roles in movies and TV shows. He first appeared in a film called Red Tails in 2012. On television, he is well-known for playing Lucky Gordon in the series The Trial of Christine Keeler.

Early Life and School
Anthony Welsh was born in Hammersmith, West London, at the Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital. He grew up in West Ealing. He went to Drayton Manor High School. When he was about 20 years old, he started taking acting classes in the evenings at Richmond Drama School. After that, he studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), which is a famous acting school.

Movies
Anthony Welsh started his movie career in 2012 with the film Red Tails. Since then, he has appeared in many other movies. Some of his notable film roles include Izzi in My Brother the Devil (2012), Dillon in The Girl with All the Gifts (2016), and Andre Bryte in Journeyman (2017). He also played Ham in The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019), a movie based on a famous book. More recently, he appeared as Don Taylor in the 2024 film Bob Marley: One Love.
Television Shows
On television, Anthony Welsh has been in several popular series. He played Devon Marshall in The Bill from 2009 to 2010. He also had roles in shows like Holby City and Top Boy in 2011. In 2017, he appeared in an episode of the science fiction series Black Mirror called "Crocodile". He is well-known for his role as Lucky Gordon in the miniseries The Trial of Christine Keeler (2019–2020). He also played Joe in the main role of Pure (2019) and Jake in Brassic (2019–2020). He also played Gratiano in The Merchant of Venice in 2014 at the Almeida Theatre. In 2017, he performed in Barber Shop Chronicles at the Royal National Theatre, playing Winston and Shoni. He returned to the role of Elegba in The Brothers Size in 2018. In 2024, he played Emilio in The Comeuppance at the Almeida Theatre.
Other Work
Besides movies, TV, and stage, Anthony Welsh has also lent his voice to video games. He was the voice of Ali Howard in the 2012 game Forza Horizon. He also appeared in a music video for the song "Another Hole in Babylon" by Gaika Tavares in 2016.
