April Scott (born January 29, 1979) is an American actress and former model. Her full name is April Ann McIntosh. You might know her from TV shows like CSI: Miami or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She has also been in movies such as The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning and Living Will.
Early Life
April Scott was born in Campbell, Missouri. She has a mix of French, Spanish, and Native American family roots. When she was in high school, April was very active in beauty pageants. She won an amazing 45 titles!
After finishing Campbell High School in 1997, she went to College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri. She was a top student, graduating as the valedictorian of her class. This means she had the highest grades! She earned a degree in Theater and also studied rhetoric, which is the art of speaking and writing well. In 2002, soon after college, April moved to Los Angeles to start her acting career.
Modeling Career
April Scott was chosen as one of People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People in 2006. In the same year, she became the face of Merle Norman Cosmetics. She appeared in many of their ads and commercials.
She has also worked for several lingerie companies like Dreamgirl and Fredericks of Hollywood. April has modeled clothes and swimwear for big stores such as Target, Macy's, and JCPenney. She has been on the cover of many magazines, including People Magazine, Fitness RX, and Import Tuner. You might have also seen her on billboards for popular drink brands like Coors Light and Bud Light.
Acting Career
April Scott has appeared in many TV shows. These include Entourage, The Shield, and CSI: Miami. She also hosted shows like Ripe TV and The Hook on ESPN2, where she interviewed extreme sports athletes.
In 2006, she became a model on the popular game show Deal or No Deal on NBC. In July 2006, she got a big role in the movie The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning. She played the character Daisy Duke, a role previously played by Jessica Simpson. The movie came out in March 2007. April has also starred in other films like Living Will and The Penthouse.
