Arash Afshin (born January 21, 1989) is a football player from Iran. He used to play for the Iranian national team and the under-23 team.

Club Career

Arash Afshin started his professional football journey with the club Foolad. In 2012, there was talk about him possibly joining a French team called Lille, but the move didn't happen.

On July 1, 2013, he signed a one-year deal with Sepahan. However, in December 2013, he ended his contract with Sepahan. He then went back to play for Foolad again.

Playing for Malavan

Later, Arash Afshin had to join a club linked to the military. This was because of rules about military service in his country. So, on November 12, 2014, he signed a two-year contract with Malavan. This club is connected to the Iranian Navy.

He made a great start with Malavan. On July 31, 2015, in his very first game for the team, he scored the only goal. This goal helped Malavan win 1–0 against Zob Ahan.

International Career

Arash Afshin played very well for the Iran U23 team. He also showed strong skills while playing for Foolad. Because of his good performance, the national team coach, Afshin Ghotbi, invited him to join the main Iranian national team, often called "Team Melli."

On January 2, 2011, Afshin was called up to play for Iran in a friendly match against Angola. This was his first game for the senior national team. He also represented Iran in the 2011 AFC Asian Cup tournament.
