Arash Estilaf (Persian: آرش استیلاف), also known as Hua Bobo (simplified Chinese: 华波波; traditional Chinese: 華波波; pinyin: Huà Bōbō), is an actor and TV presenter from Iran. He is very active in China. His birth name is Mohammadjavad Estilaf. He was born in Tehran, Iran. He moved to China when he was 17 years old.

Moving to China

Arash Estilaf moved to Shanghai in 2006. He started learning Chinese at East China Normal University. He learned to speak Chinese very quickly, in just three months!

Learning and Performing

In 2008, Arash was a contestant in the first Chinese Bridge language competition. This competition is for foreign students learning Chinese. He did very well and finished in the top 10.

In 2010, he went to the Shanghai Theatre Academy. He studied broadcasting and presenting there. He has now finished this master's degree. He is also studying for a doctorate at the East China Normal University.
